Trying out new Dog Food

Recently our dogs have the opportunity of trying out Halo Holistic Garden of Vegan Adult Dry Dog Food. We do have a lot of picky eaters on our hands. For an example, the current food that we feed our dogs have different pieces in it and our older dog only picks out the pieces she likes and leaves the rest behind. So as you can imagine we have a couple of spoiled little dogs on our hands.

Here are some of the benefits your dogs will get from eating Halo Holistic Garden of Vegan Adult Dry Dog Food.

  • Wholesome, vegan blend of chickpeas, non-GMO vegetables and nourishing oils provide complete and balanced nutrition.
  • Made in the USA with no meat protein, dairy, rice, corn, wheat or wheat gluten, as well as no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
  • Pea and chickpea proteins are easy to digest, along with pearl barley, oat groats and potatoes that are all great for sensitive stomachs.
  • Sweet potatoes, blueberries, carrots and cranberries provide essential antioxidants, fiber and vitamins.
  • Beneficial omega fatty acids from flaxseed and sunflower oil promote healthy skin and lustrous coat.

At first, giving the dogs new food they always sniff around the bowl and stare at us like what are you giving us. But this time it was a lot different and our younger dog went to the food bowl and started eating it right away. After the other dog scene she liked it they tried it out for themselves. Our older dog who is a lot pickier did not seem to be too interested in it. It did take her some time to finally come around to try it out and let’s just say she is still a picky eater.
