September 9th is California’s Birthday!

Celebrate California’s Birthday! with Gaslamp Popcorn and how young and wonderful the Golden State looks after 167 years (and more than a million Hollywood facelifts). Gaslmap Popocorn is proud to call California home, as I do. I was born and raised in California the sun is awesome in the beaches are hot.

To celebrate California’s birthday I was sent over some delicious popcorn from Gaslmap Popocorn to help celebrate and I have one amazing recipe to share with you.

Birthday Cake

Popcorn Recipe Ingredients:
6 cups Gaslamp Kettle Corn Popcorn
3/4 cup white chocolate, melted
1/8 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup Funfetti cake mix
1/4 cup sprinkles
Melt your chocolate in the microwave, using 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until it is fully melted. Add your vegetable oil or try adding a little coconut oil to the chocolate instead of vegetable oil and stir until it is melted. We tried the recipe using both oils and it came out almost the same. Add your funfetti cake mix little by little as you go. Pour the popcorn onto the cookie sheets to cool then sprinkle immediately with your choice of sprinkles. I have seen people use different cake mixes for this recipe but it’s your preference what you prefer to use.

Disclosure:

The review listed above is my own opinion. I was not paid to post the review. However, we may receive free products in exchange for reviews from time to time. Otherwise, we review products that we personally bought/use with our family’s. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I have used personally, and think will be good fit for my readers
