The Kombo Tool ™ is made from a high grade plastic that is very durable. Inside the head of the Kombo is a high quality stainless steel filet knife. The knife locks into the head by a unique, patent-pending locking mechanism, making the knife virtually impossible to slide out accidentally. It is weighted in the head by 3 brass plugs. We use brass to eliminate any corrosion on the blade. On top of the Kombo is a sharpener, used to keep that blade nice and sharp. The bottom of the knife has a pointed scooper to handle the messy work of gutting the fish. It is functional, durable and an amazing space saver.
