Chocolate Liqueur

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I’m always looking or something different to make for my significant other. This year because I don’t have one I decided to make a special drink for my mother and sister.

Chocolate Liqueur – Here are the Ingredients you will need if you decide to make this fun drink. 4 cups (32 oz.) Cacao Nibs, 1 Vanilla Bean, 750 mL Everclear , 3 cups Brown Sugar, 3 cups Filtered Water Instructions:

You are going to split the vanilla bean down the center with knife.  Combine your Everclear, cacao nibs and vanilla bean in a large, sealable container. you have to let this steep in a cool, dark place for 1 week so if you are going to make this when you may want to start now. After a week you will need a fine strain the infusion through a coffee filter. Combine brown sugar and water on stovetop to create brown sugar simple syrup. Once cooled, combine simple syrup with chocolate infusion. Currently I am still doing this so I can’t say how it came out but if you like I can update you all.

The review listed above is my own opinion. I was not paid to post the review. However, we may receive free products in exchange for reviews from time to time. Otherwise, we review products that we personally bought/use with our family’s. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I have used personally, and think will be good fit for my readers
