Abigail Spencer

Abigail Spencer’s look at tonight’s Emmy Awards was truly timeless! She channeled her inner Katharine Hepburn with an elegant yet modernized hair look that will never go out of style. Renowned celebrity stylist, Anh Co Tran (@anhcotran), worked his magic using Infusium 23 and PRO Beauty Tools to create her beautifully classic hairstyle.

Below you’ll find tips from Anh on how to achieve her look at home using Infusium 23 and PRO Beauty Tools. Please let me know if you need any additional info from Anh, Infusium 23 or PRO Beauty Tools. Looking forward to hearing from you!

“GET THE LOOK” FROM ANH CO TRAN:

First, washed and conditioned your hair with the Infusium 23 Repair + Renew Shampoo and Conditioner.

Next, you want to dried the hair with the PRO Beauty Tools 1875W Ionic AC Motor; once the hair is 80% dry,  spray Infusium 23 Repair + Renew Leave-In Treatment all over to give your hair texture.

Then spray the Infusium 23 Repair +Renew Heat Tamer from mid shaft to ends to protect against the heat. Smoothed hair out with a round brush to get that beautiful shine from root to ends.

Since they went for a modernized 40’s look, then they used the PRO Beauty Tools 1” Curling Iron, starting at the nape using horizontal sections and working my way up to the mid crown. Make sure you alternated curling the sections from left to right, then right to left to emulate finger waves.

For the crown and sides they switched to the PRO Beauty Tools 1 ¼ Curling Iron for bigger curls, still using the same technique as before. Once you get around the face, make sure to curl away in order to frame it and not hide it.

After, broke up the curls using your hands and then secured the style with hair spray.  Then you are going to pull one side back behind the ear, and kept the other free to complete the look.

The review listed above is my own opinion. I was not paid to post the review. However, we may receive free products in exchange for reviews from time to time. Otherwise, we review products that we personally bought/use with our family’s. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I have used personally, and think will be good fit for my readers
